Volunteer

Christ's Church of the Valley has an incredible volunteer team! We couldn't do what we do without the people who serve in children's classes, in the band, on the tech team running lights and sound, on the usher team, in hospitality providing coffee and refreshments, as relational leaders with students, on the logistics team directing traffic, and keeping our property safe or greeting people on Sunday mornings. Our desire is that you connect and begin volunteering in an area that interests you; it's one of the best ways to become part of what's happening at CCV, to form new friendships, and to help others.

Arts

Computer Operator:
Run Media Shout and PowerPoint during Sunday services and at special events as requested.

Instrumentalist:
Provide musical support for Sunday services and other events as requested. If you're a professional level musician, sign up to audition for the band.

Light Board Operator:
Run light board during Sunday services and at other events as requested.

Sound Board Operator:
Run sound board for all audio during Sunday services and at other events as requested.

Video Operator:
Run video racks during Sunday services and special events by request.

Video Production:
Shoot, edit and/or oversee video projects.

Vocalist:
Lead worship in Sunday services and at other events as requested. If you can sing, sign up to audition.

Group Life

Group Leaders:
Group leaders are Christian leaders who help others become fully devoted followers of Jesus in a life-changing group environment that encourages members to deepen their relationship with God, develop friendships with other group members and become influential in the lives of those outside the church.

Guest Services

Bookstore Team:
Staff the CCV Bookstore by duplicating weekly message CDs, selling books, and other resources.

Greeter Team:
Welcome first-time guests and regular attendees providing information and assistance as necessary.

Hospitality Team:
Bake, make coffee, and/or serve refreshments during Sunday services.

Office Support Team:
Support all CCV ministry areas by performing a wide range of administrative tasks as needed.

Usher Team:
Welcome, seat, and serve communion to Sunday morning service attendees.

Adult Opportunities

Valley Kids

Children's Check-In Team:
Assist families, in a warm and friendly way, as they check their children into Valley Kids classrooms.

Elementary Classroom Team:
Help make the connections between teaching time and life application using questions and activities that are designed to help children evaluate what they learn and how it applies to their lives.

Nursery Classroom Team:
Care for and facilitate activities for infants in the classroom.

Pre-K Classroom Team:
Guide and support children in opening activities and large group instruction.

Security Team:
Monitor and maintain a safe environment for children during Sunday morning services.

Tech Team:
Provide technical support in classrooms for large group - lights, sound, PowerPoint and Media Shout.
